Bilawal Welcomes Invitation to Form PPP Govt in GB, Thanks PM Shehbaz

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has welcomed an invitation to form the government in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The PPP is poised to lead the region after securing 11 out of 24 seats in the GB Legislative Assembly based on unofficial results from the June 7 elections.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has assured the PPP of full support from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in forming the government. The PML-N has decided to sit on the opposition benches in the GB Legislative Assembly but will vote in favor of the PPP to establish its government.

Zardari stated that the PPP is ready to form the government in GB, highlighting the party's success in the recent elections. This political development signals a new chapter for the autonomous region, with the PPP taking the helm.
