Bishkek Arena Tests Crowd Capacity with 1 Som Tickets and Face ID

The new Bishkek Arena is currently undergoing rigorous testing to evaluate its capacity for managing large numbers of visitors. During these tests, individuals are being granted access to the facility using symbolic 1 Kyrgyzstani som test tickets, with entry controlled via a Face ID system.

The primary objective of this testing phase is to verify how efficiently the arena's infrastructure can handle mass spectator flow. This includes checking the speed of entry control, the ease of navigating to desired entrances, floors, and sectors within the venue. Published footage shows significant crowds gathering at the entrances, with the facial recognition system appearing to function effectively, directing attendees to their designated areas.

Inside the arena, navigation aids are in place to guide visitors through different sectors, floors, and entry points. The facility also features elevators and clear pathways to spectator blocks. Despite the ongoing testing, some construction work continues within the complex.

These tests are crucial in preparing Bishkek Arena for major upcoming events. Notably, the arena is set to host the opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games on August 31st, which is expected to draw large crowds for the parade of participating teams and a concert. A separate, official grand opening ceremony for the arena itself is planned for later in September.
