Bishkek Perinatal Center to Renovate Obstetrics Department; Tender Announced

The Bishkek City Perinatal Center is set to undergo significant upgrades with the announcement of a tender for the renovation of its obstetrics department. The project, aimed at improving facilities for expectant mothers and newborns, signals a commitment to enhancing healthcare services in the Kyrgyz capital.

According to the state procurement portal, the renovation project has a budget of 12.4 million soms. The selected contractor will be expected to complete the work within 120 calendar days from the date the contract is finalized. Interested suppliers have until July 6 to submit their proposals, initiating a competitive bidding process to secure the contract.

The City Perinatal Center is recognized as a leading institution in the region, offering advanced medical care. It specializes in assisting high-risk pregnancies, including those with physiological, premature, and complicated labor. The center also provides critical care for newborns, including premature infants and those weighing as little as 500 grams.
