Bishkek Residents Urge Action as Park Trees Dry Out Before Official Opening

Residents of Bishkek have voiced concerns over the state of the Ataturk Park, a recently renovated public space that remains officially closed to visitors. The primary worry centers on the upper section of the park, where trees and other greenery are reportedly withering due to insufficient watering. "While they are preparing to officially open the restored park, everything will dry out there," citizens noted, highlighting that the summer is nearing its end without adequate care for the plants. Adding to the dissatisfaction, a public restroom constructed during the park's renovation is still inaccessible. The concerned citizens are calling on municipal authorities to implement a consistent watering schedule for the park's vegetation and to finalize all preparations for its official inauguration, aiming to preserve the newly improved public area.
