Bishkek to host 12 fan zones for 2026 World Nomad Games opening

Bishkek is gearing up to host 12 fan zones for the highly anticipated opening ceremony of the 6th World Nomad Games on August 31. The city aims to create a festive atmosphere for residents and visitors to experience the event.

The main fan zone will be centrally located in Ala-Too Square, providing a focal point for the celebrations. An additional 11 zones will be spread across all four districts of the capital, ensuring wider accessibility. These venues will broadcast the opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games and key events from the SCO Summit live.

Beyond the broadcasts, city authorities are organizing a range of activities to enhance the experience. Concerts will precede the main events, and attendees can enjoy photo zones, exhibitions, food courts, and dedicated recreation areas. National games venues will also be prepared, offering a taste of the cultural festivities.

The 6th World Nomad Games are scheduled to take place in Kyrgyzstan from August 31 to September 6, 2026. The opening ceremony is set for August 31 at the Bishkek Arena stadium, with the main competitions to be held in the Issyk-Kul region. Concurrently, the SCO Summit will convene in Bishkek on August 31 and September 1.
