Eurasia organization to open yurt at World Nomad Games ethno-village

The upcoming VI World Nomad Games, scheduled to take place in Kyrgyzstan from August 31 to September 6, will feature a dedicated space for cultural immersion and interaction, thanks to a new partnership. The autonomous non-commercial organization 'Eurasia' has officially joined as a partner for the Games.

As part of this collaboration, 'Eurasia' will operate a traditional yurt within the expansive 'Nomad World' ethno-village located in the Kyrcyn Gorge. This yurt is designed to be more than just a display; it will serve as a hub for interactive programs tailored for the Games' guests. Visitors can anticipate a rich schedule of activities, including national games, engaging master classes, and special presentations focusing on culture, traditions, and contemporary dialogue.

The Kyrcyn Gorge is expected to host approximately 500 yurts in total, creating a vibrant atmosphere for attendees. The ethno-village boasts a significant capacity, able to welcome up to 100,000 visitors per day. Beyond the 'Eurasia' yurt, the venue will host demonstrations and competitions in various national sports such as archery, ordo (a traditional board game), salburun (traditional hunting with birds of prey), and equestrian events. A contest for ethno-songs and a poetry competition (aytysh) are also planned.

This initiative highlights the organizers' commitment to providing an immersive cultural experience, allowing guests not only to observe but also to actively participate in the traditions and heritage showcased at the World Nomad Games. The event aims to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of nomadic culture among a global audience.
