Several Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders have strongly criticized Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for his statement predicting the fall of the Modi government within a year. They accused him of plotting to create anarchy and destabilize the country.

Union minister Piyush Goyal labeled Gandhi's remarks as a "major conspiracy" involving opposition parties and a "toolkit gang" aiming to destabilize India. He further accused Gandhi and the Congress of harboring hate for the nation and attempting to defame it on foreign soil.

BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra echoed these sentiments, calling Gandhi's statement a conspiracy to incite riots and anarchy. Patra suggested Gandhi's words indicated a "foreign agenda" to undermine Indian democracy, referencing figures like George Soros.
