Bolivian football club Blooming will not sign new players for the second half of the season due to a FIFA sanction. The club owes back pay to four former foreign players.

The club's leadership decided, in agreement with the technical staff, not to bring in reinforcements before the transfer market closes. This is because FIFA's sanction prevents the club from registering new players until outstanding financial obligations are met.

The sanction stems from unpaid salaries owed to former foreign players: Nahuel Acosta, Santiago Etchebarne, and Franco Posse from Uruguay, and Guido Vadalá from Argentina. These players reported the club to FIFA.

With the transfer window closed and no possibility of signing new players, Blooming will compete with its current squad for the remainder of the season. Their next match is against Always Ready on Thursday.
