Blue Camp Unites in Fengyuan: Chiang Chi-chen Declares 'I Am Ready' to Boost Taichung's Development

Legislative Vice Speaker and Taichung mayoral candidate Chiang Chi-chen rallied local blue-camp supporters at a joint political consultation meeting held at Le Tian Temple in Fengyuan. The event drew hundreds of supporters and local leaders, showcasing the blue camp's unity in the mountain region. Chiang expressed gratitude to the attendees and sought blessings from Guan Sheng Di Jun for everyone's safety. He confidently announced, "Chiang Chi-chen is ready," vowing to comprehensively upgrade and accelerate key construction projects in Taichung, building upon the solid foundation laid by current Mayor Lu Shiow-yen. Addressing the overall development of the mountain region, Chiang highlighted the "Dongshi-Fengyuan Expressway" and the Fengyuan section of National Freeway No. 4 as projects he has long advocated for in the legislature, bringing much-needed transportation convenience to the greater Fengyuan area. He also detailed the completion of the Fengyuan Sports Center and tennis courts, the upcoming opening of the Taichung Armed Forces General Hospital Fengyuan Branch, and the planned 2028 completion of the Fengyuan Forestry Bureau dormitory complex. Chiang envisions this complex, connected by railways and bicycle paths, becoming a base for Taichung's cultural renaissance, driving local cultural, tourism, and industrial transformation. Furthermore, he proposed revitalizing the old buildings of the Health Bureau and the former county government in Fengyuan, planning green spaces to create the Zhongxing Health Park. The former county council building, he suggested, could be developed into an entrepreneurship and employment incubation base.
