The decision, revealed at a press conference, is not solely due to a recent car accident but more profoundly driven by a desire to dedicate his remaining time and health to his family.

"It is not the accident that is the reason for my retirement. I was an absent father for a long time, and that is the main reason; I want to give my time and my health to my children, my wife, and my friends. My body is already telling me to slow down," the wrestler stated. He acknowledged that a car accident the previous year had, in some ways, accelerated his decision.

Blue Demon Jr., the son of a wrestling legend who bore the same name, spoke emotionally about the responsibility of carrying the famous moniker. He recalled the endless days spent as a masked performer and expressed gratitude for the audience's embrace. "The last tour will be kilometer-long, but what my father forged in me is nameless. It is an honor that the public has made me their own. I am immensely grateful," he said, referencing the legacy his father built alongside El Santo, considered the two greatest legends of Mexican wrestling.

Looking back, the 'Blue Demon' cherishes the memories of smiling faces, thunderous applause, and packed arenas where fans chanted his name. He emphasized that the wrestling he experienced and learned was directly passed down from his father, instilling in him both cultural and sporting education. His career, he noted, was a direct result of a childhood decision to wear the mask.

To commemorate his journey, Blue Demon Jr. also unveiled his biography, titled 'El último Demonio' (The Last Demon), written by Oscar Fernández. The wrestler admitted the book was difficult to create, involving a deep personal introspection. "I didn't want to do the book because it's not easy to bare myself or tell things as they are. Reading the first four pages, I couldn't help but cry," he shared, his voice trembling as he recalled the process of sharing his experiences. The farewell tour is set to be international, with additional dates planned within Mexico.
