BMKG Forecasts Sunny Weather Across Jakarta on Thursday

Jakarta residents can expect a day of sunshine on Thursday, June 11, 2026, as predicted by the Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG). The forecast indicates sunny conditions will prevail across most of the capital from morning until evening.

Temperatures are expected to hover between 28 and 33 degrees Celsius throughout the day. Humidity levels will fluctuate, ranging from 50-76 percent in the morning and settling between 46-75 percent by midday. Wind speeds are generally expected to be light, varying from 1-7.8 km/h in the morning to 4.2-16.6 km/h by midday.

As the day progresses into the afternoon and evening, the weather is predicted to remain sunny. Afternoon temperatures will be around 29-30 degrees Celsius with humidity between 60-75 percent. Overnight, temperatures will slightly decrease to 28-29 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels between 67-71 percent.

Looking ahead to early Friday morning, Jakarta is also forecast to be sunny, with temperatures between 26-28 degrees Celsius and humidity between 76-83 percent. The BMKG is actively monitoring atmospheric dynamics, intensifying its monitoring from hourly to 10-day forecasts to support Weather Modification Operations (OMC).
