BMKG: Jakarta to see partly cloudy skies all day

Jakarta residents can expect partly cloudy weather for most of Friday, June 5, 2026, according to the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG). The Seribu Islands will experience clear skies in the morning, while the rest of the capital will be partly cloudy. Average temperatures will hover between 29 and 32 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels ranging from 60 to 79 percent. Wind speeds are expected to be between 11.4 and 31.1 km/h.

Throughout the day, the partly cloudy conditions are predicted to persist, with the Seribu Islands becoming cloudy. Temperatures will slightly increase to 30-33 degrees Celsius, while humidity will decrease to 52-74 percent. Afternoon winds will range from 9.6 to 23.3 km/h.

As night falls, Jakarta will remain sunny, with temperatures dropping to 27-30 degrees Celsius and humidity rising to 73-83 percent. Wind speeds will be between 2.2 and 28.4 km/h. Looking ahead to early Saturday, June 6, the BMKG forecasts a return to partly cloudy skies, with temperatures between 26 and 28 degrees Celsius and high humidity levels of 83-88 percent.
