BMKG Weather Forecast: Jakarta Shrouded in Thick Clouds Today

Jakarta residents can expect a day of overcast skies on Saturday, June 6, 2026, according to the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG). The capital city is forecast to experience cloudy conditions throughout the morning, noon, and afternoon, with a maximum temperature reaching 34 degrees Celsius. Morning temperatures are expected to hover between 26 and 32 degrees Celsius.

The Seribu Islands will be an exception to the general cloud cover, with a drizzle anticipated in the morning. Overnight, all areas of Jakarta will remain cloudy to varying degrees.

Wind speeds across the capital are predicted to be moderate, ranging from 7 to 12 kilometers per hour. However, the Seribu Islands Regency will experience higher winds, reaching up to 27 kilometers per hour. The BMKG's forecast indicates a continuation of these conditions, with no significant rainfall expected for most of the city, apart from the aforementioned drizzle and a potential light rain in South Jakarta during the afternoon.
