BN and Pas to mutually assist each other's campaigns in Negeri Sembilan election

Perikatan Nasional (PN) will actively support Barisan Nasional's (BN) campaign efforts throughout the 16th Negeri Sembilan state election period. Pas President Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang confirmed that BN will reciprocate by assisting PN's campaign, fostering a collaborative approach between the two coalitions over the next two weeks.

Alhamdulillah, it is a very good performance. The spirit is very good, especially the cooperation with BN. The important thing is we ensure Malay, Islamic power leads in Negeri Sembilan.

Abdul Hadi highlighted that this cooperation signifies positive progress, particularly in ensuring that Malay and Islamic influence continues to hold leadership in Negeri Sembilan. "Alhamdulillah, it is a very good performance. The spirit is very good, especially the cooperation with BN. The important thing is we ensure Malay, Islamic power leads in Negeri Sembilan," he stated.

When asked about the potential for a formal merger of these coalitions, Abdul Hadi indicated that the matter would be evaluated continuously. "We were informed from the beginning (about the PN and BN cooperation), we are not rushing. We will see from time to time. God willing (we will see how the results turn out)," he commented after the candidate nomination process in Jempol District.

Earlier, Abdul Hadi, accompanied by other PN leaders including Election Director Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md. Nor, supported the coalition's candidate for the Serting state seat, Fairuz Isa. Fairuz faces competition from Pakatan Harapan candidate Yaacob Mahmood and Muhammad Noraffendy Mohd. Salleh from Bersatu.
