Bodies of 3 Found Inside Vehicle in Hermosillo; Sonora Prosecutor's Office Investigates

Authorities in Hermosillo, Sonora, are investigating the grim discovery of three bodies inside a luxury vehicle on the morning of Saturday, August 8, 2026. The vehicle was found in the southwestern part of the city, prompting an immediate response from the State Attorney General's Office (FGJE).

Investigators identified the deceased as two males and one female, all estimated to be between 25 and 45 years old. The scene was processed by forensic specialists and ministerial agents. One of the victims, found in the back seat, was holding a firearm and had sustained a head wound.

Initial hypotheses suggest the deaths may stem from an internal conflict among the vehicle's occupants.
