Muralist's granddaughter denounces entry into sealed property; 'far from feeling secure'

Adriana González Camarena, granddaughter of renowned muralist Jorge González Camarena, has denounced repeated intrusions into her family's property, which remains sealed by the Mexico City Prosecutor's Office (FGJ CDMX) as part of an investigation into alleged dispossession.

González Camarena described how individuals gained access through the roof of an adjacent property, entering her home despite the official seals. "I see these guys inside my house, again," she stated, recounting a neighbor's urgent calls and video messages that alerted her to the breach. She identified the intruders as the same individuals who had previously occupied the property.

Despite the seals and the ongoing investigation, González Camarena expressed deep frustration and a lack of security. "The seals are there, and they climbed over the roof, they were in my house, I've identified them, they are the same ones, I even know their clothes," she said. "The Prosecutor's Office came, they followed the protocol as they should, but there's no one there anymore... The seals don't matter, they get in through the back. They have been happily there for two months, and the local police know, everyone knows, and the territorial [police] have done nothing."

Authorities from the Prosecutor's Office did respond to González Camarena's calls for help, but by the time they arrived, the intruders had already left. The property was officially sealed on August 5th, following a judge's order, as part of the investigation that began after González Camarena discovered she could no longer access her home on July 2nd. The repeated unauthorized entries highlight a significant security and legal challenge for the family and authorities.
