Bodies of UK Murder Victims Nothabo Tshuma, Two Daughters Finally Arrive in Zimbabwe

The bodies of Nothabo Zandile Tshuma, a mother from Bulawayo, and her two daughters, Natalie and Nala, have finally arrived in Zimbabwe. Their journey from the United Kingdom was met with a weather-related delay, disrupting their planned arrival.

The aircraft carrying the bodies was unable to land in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, due to adverse weather conditions. This necessitated a diversion to Djibouti, causing the flight to miss its connection to Zimbabwe. Consequently, the arrival was postponed by a day, adding to the family's anguish.

The flight from the United Kingdom failed to land in Addis Ababa because of bad weather. It had to divert to Djibouti and because of that they missed the connecting flight from Addis Ababa to Bulawayo.

Family spokesperson Leon Leroy Khumalo confirmed the delay, explaining that severe weather in Ethiopia forced the aircraft to reroute. Relatives who had gathered in anticipation of the Sunday arrival were informed of the postponement midday. Despite the setback, the repatriation process is now back on track, with the bodies expected to reach Bulawayo on Monday.

The delay has compounded the family's grief as they navigate the complex process of repatriating Nothabo and her daughters. The funeral program, however, is set to proceed as planned, with a service at the Brethren in Christ Church in Lobengula, followed by burial at Old Luveve Cemetery. The arrival of the bodies is seen as a crucial step toward closure for the family, who have been mourning since the tragic discovery of their deaths at their home in Bedfordshire, UK, on July 3.
