Body of Missing 26-Year-Old Found in Chiriquí After Four-Day Search

After four days of intensive search efforts, specialized teams have located the body of a 26-year-old man who had been missing since Friday in the Macho de Monte Canyon, Chiriquí province. The operation was a significant undertaking, highlighting the challenging environment where the young man disappeared.

The search and rescue mission was led by the Fire Department of Panama, specifically its Directorate of Operations for Extinction, Search, and Rescue (DOEXBURE), in coordination with the Joint Task Force. Colonel Nadia Samudio, the first chief commander of the Bugaba Regional Zone of the Fire Department, confirmed the find and praised the rescuers' dedication.
