Bogor Regency Builds First Creative Hub, Targeting 2026 Completion

The Bogor Regency government is embarking on a significant project to establish its first creative hub, named the Siliwangi Center. This ambitious initiative will transform the former Cibinong Art Building into a modern facility designed to support the region's burgeoning creative industries.

The Siliwangi Center, located on Jalan Tegar Beriman in Cibinong, has officially entered its construction phase with the signing of a contract. The project is slated for completion by December 2026. Bupati Bogor Rudy Susmanto confirmed the timeline, noting that the facility will also include a theater space to bolster artistic and creative activities within the regency.

With an estimated construction cost of Rp29.47 billion, the creative hub is designed to provide a representative space for various sub-sectors of the creative economy. It is envisioned as a central point for collaboration, learning, and economic growth, benefiting local industry players, artists, and the wider community.

Following the provisional handover of the construction work at the end of 2026, the Siliwangi Center is expected to be accessible to the public starting in 2027. This new facility represents a strategic investment in nurturing talent and boosting the creative economy in Kabupaten Bogor.
