Bolakoro chases bigger rugby dreams after leading Suva Grammar to historic Deans title

Waisale Bolakoro, captain of Suva Grammar School, is setting his sights on higher rugby honors after leading his team to a historic victory. The school secured its first Vodafone Deans Under-18 title in 21 years, defeating Lelean Memorial School 36-21 in the final.

All we did was encourage each other. For us to stay calm, for us not to care about the crowd and for us to stay composed so we can execute things properly.

Despite the intense competition, Bolakoro showed respect for the opposing Lelean Memorial School team, acknowledging their strong performance. He also extended gratitude to the supporters, including parents and old scholars, for their sacrifices and unwavering backing throughout the season. Special thanks were also given to his three brothers for their continuous support of his rugby journey.
