Bolivia appoints José Luis Lupo as OAS representative; cabinet reshuffles announced

Former Minister of the Presidency, José Luis Lupo, is set to represent Bolivia at the Organization of American States (OAS), following his appointment by President Rodrigo Paz.

President Paz officially named Lupo to the OAS post after a ceremony where new ministers for Foreign Affairs and the Presidency were sworn in. Héctor Huanca will now serve as Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Fernando Aramayo assumes the role of Minister of the Presidency.

During the transition, President Paz expressed deep gratitude for Lupo's dedicated service. "You have demonstrated a commitment to the government and to the homeland, which you have expressed in your work, in your Ministry of the Presidency," Paz stated, highlighting Lupo's significant contributions.

Do not forget, they will be part of our personal seal, betting on dialogue, dialogue as an instrument that you led, and that you carried out in a good way with different organizations.

Paz specifically commended Lupo's leadership during the challenging 53-day national blockade.
