Bolivia U-20 Shows Progress Despite Losses to Brazil in Friendlies

Bolivia's U-20 national football team concluded its tour of Brazil with two 2-0 defeats against the host nation. However, the results did not overshadow the positive impressions the team left, particularly regarding their development over the course of the two friendly matches.

Gabriel Ramírez, the assistant technical coach, shared his observations with DIEZ, emphasizing the team's marked improvement from the first game to the second. "The team was very good. We liked the second game much more than the first. There is much progress, much evolution. We left a good image and competed equally," Ramírez stated, highlighting the positive trajectory.

Ramírez also commended the young Bolivian players for their ability to compete against a formidable opponent like Brazil. He noted that the matches served as a valuable assessment of the current squad's level and their capacity to grow under high-pressure conditions. This was particularly significant given the absence of 12 regular call-ups who play in Bolivia's First Division.
