The issue was identified by the manufacturer, Andros, following internal checks during the repackaging process and an analysis of the causes with their supplier. The presence of "small glass shards in the jam" poses a potential health risk to consumers.

The affected jars are from batches K154 and K155 and have the GTIN reference 3045320070361. They were sold between June 17 and July 13 in various retail outlets across France, including Pro à pro, Métro, Transgourmet, and Sysco. The jars typically have a best-before date of at least June 30, 2028.

Consumers who purchased these specific jars are advised not to consume the jam. They can either return the product to the point of sale for an exchange or dispose of it. A dedicated helpline, 0565106611, has been established for customers with concerns.
