Book on Ghana's spiritual and geographical significance launched

Reverend Adotei E. Abraham has launched a new book, “Ghana: A blessing in the midst of the earth,” which delves into the nation's claimed spiritual and geographical importance as a global center. The publication examines Ghana's alleged status as a "Kingdom centre" and the potential impact of this designation on the country's identity and progress.

The book is dedicated to the late Prophet Joel Mensah and the late Most Reverend George Nikoi Kotey, who served as Rev. Abraham's mentors and provided the inspiration for the work. Rev. Abraham stated that the book, initiated in early 2024, aims to provide a comprehensive account of Ghana's supposed "Kingdom centre transfer" status and the rationale behind the assertion that the nation occupies a unique position at the Earth's center.

During the book launch, a recorded interview with the late Most Reverend Kotey was played. In it, he advocated for "theocratic democracy" as a suitable governance system for Ghana, with divine authority and human execution. He also suggested that Ghana could leverage its alleged status as the spiritual and geographical heart of the world to boost tourism, proposing the development of a "mini-city" at this central point to attract visitors and generate revenue.

Reviewing the book, Rev. Francis Pappoe, Deputy Director of Education at the Ghana Education Service, praised Rev. Abraham's commitment. He emphasized the vital role of books in shaping lives and transferring knowledge, urging Ghanaians to engage with the publication's lessons. Rev. Pappoe encouraged individuals, institutions, and communities to support the book's distribution, deeming it a valuable contribution to understanding Ghana and hoping it inspires future generations.
