Botox is affecting her memory, says José Manuel Figueroa in response to Ninel Conde's accusations

Singer José Manuel Figueroa has responded forcefully to accusations of violence leveled against him by his former partner, Ninel Conde, in a recent documentary. Figueroa, who had a high-profile romance with Conde over two decades ago, suggests that Conde's recollections might be clouded by cosmetic treatments.

Figueroa stated, "I think the Botox is already doing her harm, affecting her memory because truthfully I don't remember the episode like that." He recounted an incident where Conde allegedly came to his home while he was with his then-partner Angélica Vale. Figueroa claims he explained to Vale that Conde had arrived and been let in, and that he put the call on speakerphone. He contrasted his relationships, saying he never saw Conde as wanting to be a mother or wife, but he did see that potential in Vale. He urged reporters to ask Vale directly if they doubted his account.

Figueroa further commented on Conde's public image, suggesting she appears desperate to confront aging and urging her to "age with dignity." He contrasted her continued public discussion of their past relationship with Vale's more private life as a mother and talented artist. Figueroa maintains he has witnesses to counter the alleged violence but does not plan legal action, feeling that women, laws, and media do not believe him. He concluded that Conde is doing everything to promote her program, but her claims are not necessarily true, adding, "I see her completely lost."
