The WTA 250 event saw Bouzkova, ranked 27th globally, triumph with a final score of 7-6 (7), 4-6, 6-2 after a grueling two-hour and 53-minute battle.

Bouzkova started strong, clinching the first set in a tight tie-break. Despite this initial setback, Navarro showed resilience, demonstrating an impressive 83% success rate on her first serves in the second set to level the match.

The deciding third set was a tense affair until Bouzkova managed to break Navarro's serve. This crucial moment allowed the Czech player to gain momentum and accelerate towards victory. Bouzkova ultimately won 42 reception points compared to Navarro's 35, a key statistic in her comeback.

This Nottingham championship adds to Bouzkova's career accolades, following her previous victories in Prague in 2022 and 2025, and in Bogotá earlier this year. For Navarro, the runner-up finish means she remains with her existing three WTA titles, which include wins in Hobart in 2024, Mérida in 2025, and Strasbourg in 2026.
