BPKH and Bank Muamalat Collaborate in Synergy Roadshow 2026

The Indonesian Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) and PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk (Bank Muamalat) have launched their "Synergy Roadshow 2026" initiative, with Yogyakarta being the fourth city to host the event.

This roadshow, which has already visited Jakarta, Surabaya, and Bandung, is designed to foster collaboration and assess business performance across all Bank Muamalat regions. Future events are planned for Makassar and Medan. According to Bank Muamalat's President Director, Imam Teguh Saptono, the forum aims to convey strategic directions and business priorities to the bank's staff, boosting their capabilities and instilling optimism for the second half of the year amidst challenging economic conditions.

Bank Muamalat is emphasizing sustainable growth by concentrating on its retail segments, encompassing both consumer and small-medium enterprise (SME) clients. This strategy has proven effective, with the "Solusi Emas Hijrah" consumer financing product seeing an over 11-fold year-on-year increase, reaching Rp 1.7 trillion by March 2026. Customer accounts also surged by 274% year-on-year. The bank has also prioritized SME financing, which reached Rp 3.1 trillion in outstanding loans by March 2026, a 33% increase from the previous year. Imam highlighted the crucial role of SMEs in supporting national economic stability due to their resilient risk management.

The synergy between BPKH and Bank Muamalat extends to strategic collaborations, such as the introduction of the "Kartu Haji Indonesia" (Indonesian Hajj Card) to replace cash transactions for pilgrims. This initiative aims to enhance convenience for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims while leveraging the extensive ecosystem of Hajj and Umrah services to create broader economic and social benefits across Indonesia. Bank Muamalat seeks to ensure its services provide a path to blessings and sustainable benefits for all stakeholders.
