Brad Pitt's Youngest Daughter Seeks to Drop Father's Surname

Vivienne Jolie Pitt, the youngest daughter of Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has initiated legal proceedings to officially remove her father's surname. The 15-year-old filed a petition in Los Angeles, citing "personal reasons" for her decision, according to People magazine.

This move by Vivienne aligns with the actions of her older siblings. In 2024, Shiloh, who turned 18, officially dropped Pitt from her name. Currently, requests from Zahara and Maddox are also under review, with Zahara seeking to be known as Zahara Marley Jolie and Maddox as Maddox Chivan Jolie. Their petitions are anticipated to be approved in September.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who were a prominent couple in Hollywood, have six children together. Shiloh is their biological daughter, along with twins Vivienne and Knox. Pitt also became a father to Jolie's adopted children: Maddox, Pax, and Zahara.

The couple's relationship ended in 2016 when Jolie filed for divorce, alleging abuse against her and their children. Although police investigated the incident, the case against Pitt was ultimately closed. The divorce proceedings were followed by years of contentious disputes over child custody and finances.
