Brahim Diaz shines as Morocco advances confidently to World Cup 2026 quarterfinals

Morocco's attacking midfielder Brahim Diaz expressed pride in his contributions to the team's decisive 3-0 victory over Canada in the 2026 World Cup Round of 16. Diaz, a Real Madrid player, delivered two crucial assists that helped the Atlas Lions secure their place in the quarterfinals and extend their impressive tournament run.

Diaz set up the second goal with a skillful play in the penalty box, leading to Azzedine Ounahi's strike. He then provided a visionary pass to Soufiane Rahimi for Morocco's third goal, sealing the win.
