Brawijaya Hospital is bolstering its specialized medical services through the establishment of four new Centers of Excellence. This initiative aims to enhance public trust in Indonesia's domestic healthcare system and curb the trend of citizens seeking medical treatment abroad.

According to Chief Commercial Officer drg. Hestiningsih, the hospital believes Indonesian medical professionals and technology are now competitive with global standards. "Brawijaya Hospital has doctors with the same, even better, capacity and capability, and our technology is also on par," she stated.

The four Centers of Excellence are BraveHeart Center for comprehensive cardiac care, Orthopedic Center Brawijaya for musculoskeletal issues, Jakarta Gynecology Center (JGC) for women's health, and Benih IVF Center for fertility treatments. These centers are designed to meet increasingly complex health needs with modern technology and multidisciplinary teams.

The BraveHeart Center, in particular, addresses the high incidence of heart disease in Indonesia, a leading cause of death. Dr. M. Yamin highlighted risk factors like smoking, hypertension, and stress, emphasizing the importance of healthy lifestyles and regular check-ups. Similarly, the Orthopedic Center offers advanced diagnostics and precise treatments for a range of conditions, from sports injuries to spinal disorders, aiming for faster patient recovery.
