Indonesia's BRI continues to expand financial services to remote communities through its BRILink Agen network, which has grown to over 1.13 million agents serving more than 60,753 villages by June 2026. This extensive network facilitated over 501 million transactions, with a sales volume of Rp 841 trillion in the first half of 2026 alone. These figures underscore the vital role BRILink Agen plays as a financial infrastructure supporting community economic activities, broadening financial inclusion, and strengthening the grassroots economy across Indonesia.

Akhmad Purwakajaya, Director of Micro BRI, emphasized that the partnership model with BRILink Agen operates on a "sharing economy" concept focused on community empowerment. Small shop owners, market stall operators, and micro-entrepreneurs in various regions now benefit not only from convenient transactions but also from a promising new source of income.
