British actress Minnie Driver survives major car crash thanks to Kia EV6 airbags

British actress Minnie Driver has shared her survival of a severe car accident in France, attributing her safety to the advanced airbag system of the Kia EV6 electric vehicle she was a passenger in. The "Good Will Hunting" star posted an update on Instagram, appearing with a neck brace, to convey the gravity of the incident while expressing gratitude for the car's protective features.

Driver explained that the accident occurred while she was traveling with a friend who was driving. According to her account, another vehicle failed to stop at an intersection and collided with the side of their car at high speed. "It wasn't our fault," Driver emphasized, detailing the forceful impact that left them unable to exit the vehicle on their own.

"The reason I survived is because of the car we were in. The 360-degree airbags saved our lives," Driver stated, expressing astonishment at the car's structural integrity despite the significant collision. She further commended the vehicle's body structure for remaining largely intact, suggesting it played a crucial role in preventing more serious injuries. In a lighthearted moment, she joked about changing her name to 'Kia Driver' to express her profound thanks.
