LH Wins Grand Prize for ESG Management in Public Institution Category

Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) secured the top award in the public institution category at the '2026 Korea ESG Management Awards,' recognizing its commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices. The award ceremony took place on the 5th, with LH announcing its achievement on the 7th.

The 'Korea ESG Management Awards' honors local governments, public institutions, companies, and individuals actively implementing ESG management. LH's efforts in the environmental (E) sector were highlighted, including the supply of zero-energy and eco-friendly modular housing, the creation of carbon offset forests, and the expansion of solar power facilities in public housing, all contributing to sustainable living spaces.

In the social (S) domain, LH was commended for strengthening housing welfare and social responsibility. This included establishing integrated public rental housing hubs, providing support for victims of 'jeonse' fraud and vulnerable groups, enhancing safety management on construction sites to prevent serious accidents, and promoting ESG practices within its subsidiary companies.

For governance (G), LH advanced its accountability-based ethical management system, the first among public corporations in social overhead capital (SOC). The company also implemented a voluntary reporting system for collusion and corruption, demonstrating a commitment to organizational integrity.
