British police arrest new suspect in former MP Ann Widdecombe murder probe

British police have arrested a second suspect in connection with the death of former Conservative Member of Parliament Ann Widdecombe. The 28-year-old man, described as a British national, was detained in South Yorkshire, a significant distance from Widdecombe's home.

This latest arrest follows the release of a 26-year-old man who was initially apprehended near the crime scene. Investigators have since ruled him out of involvement in the incident.
