Bródno Hospital Finds 'Inconsistencies' in Doctor's Work Schedule; Case Sent to Prosecutors

An internal audit at Bródno Hospital has uncovered "inconsistencies" in the work schedules of Dawid Kacprzyk, a 28-year-old doctor who gained notoriety for his alleged wealth and lack of specialization. The investigation focused on his employment as deputy coordinator of the Emergency Department.

According to the Mazovian regional government marshal, Adam Struzik, Kacprzyk worked a total of 732 hours at Bródno Hospital over 125 days. His contract, initially for three months starting February 5, was extended but later terminated following media revelations. During this period, Kacprzyk reportedly earned 350 Polish zloty per hour.

The hospital stated that a control team completed a comprehensive verification of Kacprzyk's working hours. The audit revealed discrepancies in the documentation, prompting the hospital to summon Kacprzyk for explanations. The final report has been submitted to the relevant prosecutor's office.

Previous reports highlighted that Kacprzyk, who was also a councilor for the Civic Coalition, was simultaneously involved with other medical facilities. Calculations based solely on his hours at the Southern Warsaw Hospital and Bródno Hospital suggested he would have needed to work an average of 16-17 hours per day, raising questions about the physical possibility of fulfilling these duties alongside his other commitments.
