Bruno Miranda Wins in Melipilla, Nears Rotax Max Challenge Title

Bruno Miranda demonstrated his prowess in national karting by winning the sixth round of the Rotax Max Challenge Chile at the Las Perdices circuit in Melipilla. This victory marks a crucial step towards securing the season's championship.

The race weekend presented challenging conditions, with fluctuating weather from intense sun to heavy rain, forcing teams and drivers to constantly adapt. Miranda initially qualified in third place after opting for a setup suited for wet conditions, which proved less ideal as the track began to dry. However, he quickly turned the situation around.

In the pre-final race, Miranda executed a flawless start, seizing the lead in the first corner and maintaining it until the finish, earning him pole position for the main final. The final race saw further drama when an early contact on the first lap briefly dropped him to second place. Despite the setback, Miranda's superior pace and consistent driving allowed him to regain the lead and ultimately claim the checkered flag.

"I am very happy with the work the entire team did and because this result puts us very close to achieving one of our big goals for the season," Miranda stated after the competition. Beyond the immediate win, the result places him in an excellent position to clinch the national title with two races remaining. It also brings him closer to securing a spot representing Chile at the 2026 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals in Portimão, Portugal.
