BTS agency apologizes for Busan concert delay, vows improvements

The agency for global superstars BTS has issued a formal apology for the considerable delay in commencing their concert in Busan. The "BTS World Tour 'Arirang' in Busan" performance was postponed by approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, causing significant inconvenience to the audience.

We deeply apologize for the significant inconvenience caused by the delay in the start of the performance to all the audience members who came to watch the 'BTS World Tour 'Arirang' in Busan' held on the same day.

HYPE explained that while extensive preparations were made to ensure a memorable experience, a combination of factors led to the delay. These included confusion in on-site guidance, bottlenecks in the queue for fan gift distribution, and delays in collecting merchandise.

The agency expressed deep regret for the disappointment and inconvenience caused to fans who waited for an extended period. For the following day's performance at the same venue, Busan Asiad Main Stadium, HYBE pledged to conduct thorough checks and implement improvements across all on-site operations, including entry procedures and gift distribution, to prevent a recurrence of the issues.

This concert marks BTS's first full-group performance in Busan in approximately 3 years and 8 months, following their "2030 Busan World Expo Bid Concert" in October 2022. Both scheduled dates were completely sold out.
