BTS's RM becomes global ambassador for National Museum of Korea

Global music sensation RM, a member of the K-pop group BTS, is lending his international influence to promote Korean cultural heritage. The National Museum of Korea announced on March 20 that RM has been appointed as its global ambassador.

The museum seeks to leverage RM's worldwide appeal to widely publicize the beauty and value of Korean cultural heritage, both domestically and internationally. This initiative also aims to elevate the museum's global profile.

As ambassador, RM will engage in diverse promotional activities, serving as a key figure in introducing Korea's rich history and traditional culture to people around the world. To commemorate his appointment, the museum presented RM with a special edition scroll featuring a miniature replica of the 'Daedongyeojido,' a historical Korean map.
