Bucharest Summer Festivals 2026: Nick Cave and 90s Music Headline Lineup

Bucharest is gearing up for a vibrant summer of music in 2026 with the return of two highly anticipated festivals: Nostalgia and Summer Well. These events promise a diverse lineup, catering to different musical tastes and offering a rich cultural experience for residents and visitors alike.

The Nostalgia festival is set to take place from June 25 to June 28 in Pădurea Băneasa, at the Romanian Archery Federation grounds. Known for its celebration of 90s music, the festival has consistently drawn crowds of all ages with its nostalgic atmosphere and popular Romanian artists from that era. While the full lineup remains a secret, past editions have featured acts like 3 Sud Est, Smiley, and Loredana. Ticket prices vary, with a 4-day general access pass costing 329 lei, and single-day tickets ranging from 119 to 189 lei. The festival also offers free access for children under 12 and has specific access rules for minors.

Following Nostalgia, the Summer Well festival will run from August 7 to August 9 at the Știrbey Estate in Buftea. This year's edition boasts a significant international draw, with Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds headlining the event. Other notable performers include Charlotte Cardin, Two Feet, Rikas, Good Neighbours, Noga Erez, and Palaye Royale. Ticket prices for Summer Well start at 425 lei for general access and 675 lei for VIP passes.

Beyond the main musical acts, both festivals are expected to offer additional attractions. Nostalgia will feature thematic activities and exhibitions, creating a comprehensive retro experience. Summer Well's organizers have also released a detailed schedule for its stages, ensuring attendees can plan their festival experience.
