Bukha Waterfront Development Project Nears 95% Completion in Oman

The Bukha Waterfront Development Project, situated in the Musandam Governorate of Oman, is on the cusp of completion, with approximately 95 percent of the work finished. Spanning a total area of 26,000 square meters, this initiative is a key component of the government's strategy to foster comprehensive development and leverage the governorate's unique natural coastal assets.

This project is recognized as a strategic endeavor designed to significantly upgrade the tourism, recreational, and service infrastructure in Bukha. Its successful implementation is expected to invigorate the local economy, elevate the quality of life for both residents and visitors, and solidify Bukha's standing as an attractive tourist destination within the broader Musandam region.

Mohammed bin Saif Al Jabri, Assistant Director General of Musandam Municipality, highlighted the project's role in creating a comprehensive tourist hub. He emphasized its potential to draw beachgoers, stimulate economic and social activities, and provide an ideal setting for sports and healthy lifestyle promotion.

The waterfront development boasts an array of facilities, including an 800-meter promenade, various retail kiosks, a boat rental service, and a modern restaurant offering direct sea views. Additionally, it includes a dedicated children's play area, decorative fountains, landscaped green spaces, shaded seating areas, and essential supporting services.
