Bulega back on top, ahead of Lecuona, in Donington's second race

Nicolo Bulega of Aruba.it Racing-Ducati returned to winning ways, claiming victory in the second race at Donington Park. He finished ahead of his teammate Iker Lecuona, who had interrupted Bulega's winning streak the previous day.

Bulega delivered a dominant performance, crossing the finish line first. Lecuona, after securing his maiden win on Saturday, mounted a strong comeback from tenth on the grid to finish second. The podium was completed by another Italian rider, Yari Montella of Barni Spark Racing Team.

This victory marked Bulega's 43rd career win in the World Superbike championship, placing him in a tie with Noriyuki Haga for sixth place in the all-time standings. It also represented Italy's 550th podium finish in the series. Lecuona achieved his nineteenth podium, while Montella reached his eleventh.

With Bulega's triumph, Ducati secured the 2026 Manufacturers' Championship at Donington Park. This adds to the Team Championship title the manufacturer had already clinched earlier in the season.
