Bulls acquire Jalen Randle in three-team NBA trade

The Chicago Bulls are set to acquire NBA player Jalen Randle as part of a significant three-team trade involving the Minnesota Timberwolves and Brooklyn Nets. Randle, a key player for the Timberwolves, will join the Bulls, bolstering their roster with his scoring and playmaking abilities.

The trade sees Nic Claxton moving from the Bulls to the Nets. Claxton, a solid contributor for Chicago, averaged 11.7 points and 6.9 rebounds per game last season. His departure marks a notable shift in the Bulls' frontcourt.

Minnesota, in exchange for Randle, will receive the 33rd overall pick in the upcoming NBA draft from the Nets. The Timberwolves also gain Mouhamadou Gueye, who is expected to be waived by the Bulls. This move suggests a focus on rebuilding and acquiring draft assets for the Timberwolves.

Randle, 31, had a strong performance last season, posting averages of 20.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 4.7 assists. His addition to the Bulls lineup is anticipated to provide a significant offensive boost, making him a teammate of fellow draft pick Matas Buzelis.
