Bulog Distributes 1.37 Million Liters of Minyakita Cooking Oil in NTT

The state-owned logistics company Bulog is actively working to ensure the availability and affordability of essential cooking oil, Minyakita, in the Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) province. As reported by Republika, Bulog has successfully distributed over 1.37 million liters of this subsidized cooking oil, setting a maximum retail price of Rp15,700 per liter to protect consumers' purchasing power. This effort is crucial for the region, where access to affordable staples is a constant concern.

During a working visit by Commission IV of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) to Labuan Bajo, Bulog's commitment was highlighted. Director-General Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani emphasized that the distribution, coordinated by the Labuan Bajo branch, has reached significant volumes, underscoring the government's dedication to food price stabilization. This visit also served to bolster public confidence in Bulog's role in national food security.
