Busan High's Ha Hyun-seung Clears Fence in Home Run Derby Prelims

Busan High School's Ha Hyun-seung launched a towering home run during the preliminary round of the Home Run Derby, a highlight of the 4th Hanwha Eagles Cup. The event, held at the Daejeon Hanwha Life Eagles Park, brought together elite high school and college players for an exciting exhibition of power hitting. Ha Hyun-seung's impressive display of strength captivated the audience as he sent the ball soaring over the fence. The high school all-star team was managed by Jeong Yun-jin, the coach of Deoksu High, known for developing young talent. The college all-star team was led by Lee Yeon-su, the head coach of Sungkyunkwan University's team. Players for both squads were selected through deliberations by the scouting team leaders from all 10 professional baseball clubs, ensuring a high caliber of competition and showcasing some of the brightest young prospects in Korean baseball.
