Bystander Shot in Bursa Street Attack

A brazen daylight shooting in Bursa, Turkey, left two individuals wounded and sent shockwaves through the Emek Zekai Gümüşdiş neighborhood. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. when an unidentified assailant opened fire on Özcan Öztürk as he walked down the street.

The gunfire struck both Öztürk and Oktay Buldu, a passerby who happened to be in the vicinity. Both men sustained leg injuries and collapsed on the ground, bleeding. Emergency services were quickly dispatched to the scene following calls from bystanders.

Paramedics provided initial treatment before transporting the injured to Bursa City Hospital. Their conditions are reported to be stable. Meanwhile, the assailant, after firing indiscriminately into the air, sped away from the scene in a vehicle.

CCTV footage from a nearby business captured the dramatic events, showing the suspect pursuing Öztürk with a handgun and firing shots. Police are actively working to identify the shooter and bring them into custody.
