Ca Mau Fertilizer receives provincial award for housing support

Ca Mau Fertilizer has received a certificate of merit from the Ca Mau provincial People’s Committee after helping fund 84 homes for people facing housing difficulties in 2026.

The award was presented at a conference reviewing the completion of 1,069 homes for households in need. Decision No. 3278, issued on Sept. 3, recognized the fertilizer company’s contribution to the housing program. Lê Ngọc Chính, deputy head of Petrovietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer’s resource management department, represented the company at the event.

The provincial program supports poor and near-poor households, as well as biological children of people who took part in resistance activities and were affected by chemical exposure. Completing the homes addressed immediate housing needs and was intended to give families greater stability for work and daily life.

In addition to housing, Ca Mau Fertilizer has supported education, rural roads, holiday assistance for poor households, scholarships, schools and other community projects. The company allocated more than 14.2 billion Vietnamese dong to social welfare programs in Ca Mau in 2026.
