Cak Imin: 108 Laws Need Revision for Economic Sovereignty

Jakarta – Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB), Muhaimin Iskandar, commonly known as Cak Imin, has identified 108 laws requiring amendment to effectively implement economic sovereignty in Indonesia. He made this assertion during the 28th anniversary celebration of PKB in Jakarta, an event attended by President Prabowo Subianto.

Cak Imin expressed PKB's backing for a single-door policy on natural resource exports, viewing it as a crucial strategy for establishing economic independence. "We are fully confident that the new economic orientation and direction, beginning with the preservation of natural resources, is not mere rhetoric or a daydream. We have long yearned for this, and we witness the President's policies becoming a reality with the concrete efforts we observe," he stated.

The PKB leader urged other political parties to collaborate on comprehensive regulatory reforms to ensure Indonesia's wealth benefits its citizens. "Mr. President, PKB notes that at least 108 laws need our attention for revision so that our economic sovereignty can be truly realized," he told the audience.

The anniversary's theme, "New Direction for the Mandate of Constitutional Economics," was summarized by Cak Imin as "Prabowonomics." He explained this theme signifies PKB's gratitude and commitment to collectively steer the national economy in a new direction, fostering a self-reliant and robust nation based on its own strengths.
