PKB urges Prabowo, other parties to revise 108 laws for resource preservation

The National Awakening Party (PKB) has pledged its full support for President Prabowo Subianto's agenda to protect Indonesia's natural resources and achieve economic sovereignty. PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar stated that preserving these resources is crucial for Indonesia to assert its economic independence amid high global market dependency.

He specified that the targeted laws include those related to the Omnibus Law, Forestry, Minerals and Coal, State Finance, and Agraria. Iskandar emphasized the need for these revisions to ensure Indonesia relies solely on its own capabilities.

Beyond advocating for legal revisions, PKB also champions concrete solutions to support economic sovereignty policies. A primary proposal is the implementation of a single-door export policy for natural resources. The party believes this streamlined approach will serve as the main gateway to achieving national economic independence and sovereignty.
