CalBank joins national clean-up exercise

CalBank PLC actively participated in Ghana's national sanitation exercise on Friday, demonstrating its commitment to environmental cleanliness and community well-being. The bank supported the national effort through a donation of essential sanitation equipment and direct involvement of its staff in community clean-up activities.

In Accra, CalBank presented the Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly with vital supplies, including wheelbarrows, shovels, long brooms, reflective vests, gloves, and nose masks. This donation aims to bolster ongoing sanitation efforts, particularly in the wake of recent floods that impacted parts of the country. Assembly leadership expressed gratitude for the bank's support and participation.

Employees from CalBank's Head Office and various branches joined in desilting exercises, contributing to the improvement of local sanitation infrastructure. This initiative is part of CalBank's response to the National Sanitation Day, a nationwide campaign declared by the President of Ghana to encourage citizen and organizational participation in clearing drains and enhancing sanitation across the country. CalBank reaffirmed its dedication to initiatives promoting environmental sustainability and safer communities.
