Cameras to show athletes, not to expose them

A new guideline from the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) seeks to promote respectful television coverage of female athletes. Titled "Raising the Bar," the guide emphasizes showcasing athletic performance and technique, explicitly forbidding intimate or undignified close-up shots.

The European Athletics Championships are set to begin Monday in Birmingham.
